Histopathology

Using our own unique processes, we are able to report on 70% of cases same day as receipt of sample. Exceptions would be large samples which would require further fixation, and bone.

Bones require a process known as Decalcification, which softens bone so that it can be processed to slide, this may take a couple of days or up to a week, depending on the sample.

Post Mortem

We are happy to receive small animals for post mortem, this includes kittens, puppies, small mammals, birds, fish and reptiles.

The package will include examination by a relevant veterinary pathologist, histopathology, microbiology and parasitology.

Please contact us in advance if you wish to submit an animal for post mortem.
